Around Farmington Hills
The city took shape in 1973, when the rest of Farmington Township joined the villages of Quakertown and Wood Creek Farms. Wood Creek Farms itself began as a subdivision in 1937, which says a lot about how long people have been building homes here. Farmington and Farmington Hills are separate cities, yet they share schools and a library and are often thought of as one community.
